After Royals’ offensive outburst, Toronto pitcher chewed on his cap
Yogi Berra was wrong.
The Royals’ 15-5 win against the Blue Jays on Wednesday night in Toronto was over before it was over. The Royals hung an eight-spot on the Jays in the second inning and led 13-0 at one point.
Toronto starter Brett Anderson had a rough night. He allowed eight runs on seven hits and two walks, while recording four outs.
Anderson was clearly frustrated when he left the game, took a seat on the bench and bit into his cap. Yep, that really happened. Anderson chewed on the cap and then ripped it.

I’m guessing that cap won’t be available for a memorabilia collector, but maybe it should.
