Tony Romo is a Duke fan and the disdain for the Blue Devils grows stronger
Duke secured a spot in the Final Four by beating Gonzaga on Sunday, and the TV cameras caught Tony Romo, Jason Witten and Jason Garrett in the crowd rooting for the Blue Devils.
This sickened a sizable number of basketball fans.
Tony Romo cheers for Duke because he apparently strives to be even more unlikable
— Andy Suchorski (@AndySuchorski) March 29, 2015The endless shots of Romo and Garrett in Duke gear make it relatively easy to root against Duke.
— Vic Lombardi (@VicLombardi) March 29, 2015I didn't care who won this game but after seeing Romo and Witten I might have to learn towards Gonzaga
— Sea«206»Hawks™ (@206fts) March 29, 2015Romo wearing a Duke shirt??? You need more reasons to root against them????
— Dick Fain (@dickfain) March 29, 2015Tony Romo is wearing a Duke shirt. If he adds a Yankees cap, the Internet will explode.
— Michael Jenkins (@JenksCSN) March 29, 2015Nothing epitomizes the bandwagon nature of Duke fans more than Tony Romo being a Duke fan.
— Brian (@couch_dad) March 29, 2015If Duke wants to really impress Tony Romo, they should wait until the last second and blow it.
— MF David Deery (@MFDavidDeery) March 29, 20152 of the things I hate the most is on my TV: Duke and Tony Romo
— Brittany Townsend (@23_brittanyy) March 29, 2015What is up with Romo & Jason Garrett rooting for Duke? Another reason to not like Cowboys.
— ShagFromScuffletown (@ShagOnSports) March 29, 2015My girl sees Tony Romo in the stands at #DukevsGonzaga and says "Well, I guess this is his way of seeing the Postseason." #ShesaKeeper
— Jimmy in Durham (@JayDukes) March 29, 2015So Romo is Duke’s superfan. Many people think that doesn’t match with Wisconsin’s big fan (Aaron Rodgers) or Kentucky’s (Ashley Judd) or Michigan State’s (Magic Johnson).
If Romo is Duke's Rodgers, does Garrett = Munn? Go Badgers MT @NFLonCBS: Tony Romo & Jason Garrett love March Madness pic.twitter.com/IvvXOSMOP2
— Alex Byington (@abyingtonTD) March 29, 2015Ashley Judd > Tony Romo and Jason Garrett. That is all.
— David Goodman (@DGoodmantrublu) March 29, 2015The 2015 Final Four: Starring Ashley Judd, Aaron Rodgers, Magic Johnson and Tony Romo.
