Patrick Mahomes’ debut with the Chiefs went well, don’t you think?
His final line in the Chiefs’ 27-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Friday night: Mahomes completed 7-of-9 passes for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Those numbers won’t blow anyone away, but perhaps the most important stat is interceptions thrown: zero.
