Friends rally behind Royals fan Jimmy Faseler, who was shot
There were so many crazy, wonderful elements to the Royals’ run to the World Series last year.
That includes the fans who gained notoriety, like SungWoo Lee, who flew to Kansas City (twice) from South Korea.
Jimmy Faseler continued to make his presence known with his unusual dance in the stands*.
*He actually first made his mark in 2013, I believe.
On Sunday, Faseler’s friends were disheartened to hear that he had been shot in an apparent robbery at his home on Friday.
They set up a gofundme page up to help with Faseler’s medical bills. On Twitter, the hashtag #BounceBackJimmy was being used to support Faseler.
@jimmyfaseler got the rally cap on for you! Get well soon, we've still got to get that trip to the @nlbmprez! #BounceBackJimmy
