Fan uses her purse to catch a foul ball at Cardinals game

We have a strong candidate for fan catch of the year.

This woman at Sunday night’s Cardinals-Pirates game at Busch Stadium used her purse to haul in a foul ball. She had an assist from the man next to her who kept her from falling. Check it out:

As you’ll see, the fans gave her a great ovation for making the catch.
