It wasn’t a great weekend for the Royals, who lost two of three to the Twins in Minneapolis.

Friday night’s 4-3 loss in 10 innings was particularly tough to take as the Royals coughed up a two-run lead in the ninth inning.

There was one fun moment, however. In the third inning, Lorenzo Cain grounded out to short, but Jorge Polanco’s throw was off the mark. Twins first baseman Joe Mauer came off the bag and tagged out Cain, who couldn’t evade Mauer. Cain ended up running past first-base coach Rusty Kuntz. Instead of jogging straight back to the dugout, Cain went over and gave a kid in the stands a high five.
