Thunder Snow, the horse that bucked at start of Kentucky Derby, is uninjured
After Saturday’s Kentucky Derby had finished, there were two thoughts shared on social media.
One was happiness for Always Dreaming, which won the race. The other was concern for Thunder Snow, which had a problem coming out of the gate.
I don't care about any of this except what happened to #thundersnow.

Thunder Snow is fine. Ben Roberts of The Lexington Herald Leader reported that the horse “broke a step slow out of the gate and then started bucking under jockey Christophe Soumillon, who pulled him up a few seconds later. Thunder Snow was corralled almost immediately by an outrider and jogged along the rail as the other 19 contenders in the race headed into the first turn.”
It was a crazy sight at the start.

An examination by a doctor, Jennifer Kaak, found no leg injuries, the Herald Leader reported.
