Yes, Sasquatch was at Charles Harris’ draft party (not Chewbacca, duh)
You’re going to think that the following sentence is a fabrication, but I assure you it is not the case.
During a live shot of former Lincoln Prep/Mizzou star Charles Harris hearing that he’d been drafted Thursday night by the Miami Dolphins, ESPN’s Trey Wingo mistook Sasquatch for Chewbacca.
That is as crazy as it sounds. But here’s the video proof:

Talk about Messin’ with Sasquatch, right? That is the tag line for Jack Link’s beef jerky, and you’ve likely seen the off-beat commercials featuring Sasquatch. As it turns out, Harris had a sponsorship deal with Jack Link’s, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, so that would explain why Sasquatch was at Harris’ watch party at Lincoln Prep.

Forget that Sasquatch was there, people watching the draft couldn’t believe the case of mistaken identity.

Sasquatch is apparently Chewbacca now. Thanks @espn

The Charles Harris/Jack Link’s deal wasn’t the only one struck for a new NFL player.
Lamps Plus Inc., which touts itself as the nation’s largest specialty lighting retailer, struck a deal with Western Kentucky offensive lineman Forrest Lamp.
That is as exciting as it sounds:
