Fan’s million-dollar half-court shot fails miserably

This was the polar opposite of what this poor guy had hoped for.

At the ACC tournament, this person was chosen for a chance to win a $1 million prize. He had to make a half-court shot, which is no easy task.

But his attempt actually drew boos (this is from Ryan Fagan’s Vine):
