Whoops! Soccer fans inadvertently vandalize their own team’s bus
I am going out on a limb here and saying that this did not go as planned.
Soccer fans in England set out to vandalize the team bus of their opponent over the weekend. You will note here that the bus was spray-painted:

One problem. You can tell that the fans wrote the name of their team — Crystal Palace — on the bus, and the visiting team was Middlesbrough. The Sun reported that the bus was parked at a hotel where visiting teams stay. However, BarDown reported that Middlesbrough flew to London for the game and then used a bus owned by — you got it — Crystal Palace.
The Sun reported that Crystal Palace assistant head groundsman, Dean Waters, tweeted: “£40,000 worth of damage on our coach thinking it was the Boro coach. Nice one! #cpfc”
That tweet was later deleted, but the conversion rate on that was jut a bit under $50,000.
Here is another look at the bus.

Let’s just all agree that fans should make it a habit of not trying to vandalize an opposing team’s bus.
