Donald Trump personally returns 3-iron recovered from a lake to Rory McIlroy

The Rory McIlroy’s fit of rage turned into a trilogy.

To recap:

Part One: McIlroy was so disgusted with a shot on Friday at the Cadillac Championship in Doral, Fla., that he tossed his 3-iron into a lake.

Part Two: A scuba diver went into the lake on Saturday and found the club.

Part Three: Donald Trump returned the 3-iron to McIlroy on Sunday.

“We’re thinking about auctioning it for charity or doing a trophy case for Doral, putting it on a beautiful mount,” Trump told reporters on Sunday. “People really want that. I think Rory wants that. It was such a big thing. Last night it was all over television. It was the biggest story. And then the scuba diver! He was from central casting.”
