Pittsburgh newspaper created a cool ‘Star Wars’ cover ahead of Steelers-Patriots game
A long time ago in this galaxy, the New York Yankees were known as the Evil Empire.
But these days, as New England is poised to play in its 11th AFC Championship Game in the last 16 seasons, the Patriots have that title all to themselves.
With Deflategate and Spygate, the Patriots are seen as the Evil Empire. Heck, coach Bill Belichick in a hoodie certainly reminds some people of the Emperor.
Last week, the Houston Chronicle wrote a story with the headline, “Experts try to find Patriots’ Death Star exhaust port vulnerability.”
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette took it one step further. The fine folks at the newspaper came up with this fun cover:

I’m not sure I buy the Steelers being Han Solo flying the Millennium Falcon, but I’m not going to quibble about such a small detail.
