PGA golfer thanks Andy Reid for timeout before Titans’ winning field goal

AP

Well, that wasn’t a fun Chiefs game on Sunday.

The offense didn’t score in the second half, Alex Smith threw an interception in the end zone and the Chiefs lost 19-17 to the Tennessee Titans at Arrowhead Stadium.

Former Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop made a 53-yard field as time expired to win it for the Titans. Succop missed his first attempt, but the Chiefs called a timeout just before he kicked, so he got a second chance.

Given the new opportunity, Succop’s kick was good, and Titans fans everywhere were ecstatic. That includes PGA golfer Brandt Snedeker.

Snedeker, who is ranked No. 28 in the world, was born in Nashville and attended Vanderbilt. After the game he tweeted this:

The reaction from Chiefs fans was much different, as you might expect. Lots of second questions from people.
