Golden State coach calls for a ‘moment of joy’ in memory of Craig Sager
Turner Sports announced Thursday that NBA reporter Craig Sager had died at the age of 65 after a long battle with leukemia.
There was an outpouring of memories around the sports world as the news spread and many NBA players and coaches remembered Sager before their games on Thursday night.
Before Golden State took on the New York Knicks, Warriors coach Steve Kerr gave a nice speech and then asked for something unusual. Instead of a moment of silence, he asked fans to make some noise because Sager was known for living life to the fullest.
