For Pete's Sake

No, Mitch Holthus can’t sit still when calling Chiefs games

Have you ever wondered what Mitch Holthus is doing when he’s calling a Chiefs game for the team’s radio network?

Sitting placidly as he watches Tyreek Hill return a punt for a touchdown? Call a fumble recovery for the Chiefs without wildly waving his arms?

Of course not.

KCTV-5 took a camera into the broadcast booth and recorded Holthus as he called Thursday’s win over the Raiders. While broadcasting, Holthus is every bit as fired up as he sounds. And you can even see a bit of what Len Dawson does during a game as well.
