Dorial Green-Beckham fined by NFL for wearing ‘Yeezy Foundation’ cleats
Last week, a number of Chiefs players wore special cleats for their game against the Atlanta Falcons.
It was part of the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign, which allowed NFL players to have uniquely designed cleats to promote their charities.
Eric Berry’s cause was Hodgkin Lymphoma Awareness; Alex Smith’s was the Alex Smith Foundation and Marcus Peters’ was the Fam 1st Family Foundation.
Former Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham’s cause? It apparently was “The Yeezy Foundation,” USA Today said.
Yeezy is rapper Kanye West’s apparel brand, and it doesn’t appear that there is a Yeezy Foundation. At least that is what the NFL must believe, because Green-Beckham, who is with the Philadelphia Eagles, was fined $6,076 by the league for wearing unapproved cleats against the Bengals, according to ESPN.

Houston’s DeAndre Hopkins said earlier this year that he was fined by the league for wearing “Kanye West-designed Yeezy cleats.”
Green-Beckham was dismssed from the Missouri football team in 2014 for an off-field incident.
