Poll: What do you think of the Wade Davis trade?

It’s done.

The Wade Davis era is over. On Wednesday, the Royals traded their closer to the Chicago Cubs for outfielder Jorge Soler. Davis was acquired in the much-discussed “James Shields” trade with the Rays in 2012. The Royals envisioned that Davis would be a starter, but he found much greater success in the bullpen.
