Some are upset that photo of Tyreek Hill is NFL’s Twitter header
During ESPN’s “Outside The Lines” on Wednesday*, Bob Ley hosted a segment about NFL players who have had troubles in the past but seem to have found a home with their current teams. Specifically, it was about the Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill and the Bills’ Richie Incognito.
*Featuring guest Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star
Ley noted that the NFL’s Twitter header features the Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill and De’Anthony Thomas. It’s a photo of Hill returning a free kick for a touchdown from the Chiefs’ 30-27 overtime win at Denver on Sunday.
Hey @NFL, high-five on your excellent choice of a new Twitter header. pic.twitter.com/IMN6qWK99R

Ley also noted that the NFL’s Twitter account has more followers than president-elect Donald Trump, so quite a few people would see the NFL celebrating the accomplishments of Hill, an admitted domestic abuser. That decision by the NFL has made some people upset.
@Chiefs @DATBLACKMOMBA13 @NFL yes! A man accused of beating his pregnant wife is a great choice! Keep it up fellas. Great work out there!

The twitter header for the NFL account is a guy who punched his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach. Keep fighting the good fight @nflcommish pic.twitter.com/233hbjlq9Y

.@NFL featuring Tyreek Hill on their Twitter and Facebook header photos. You know, the guy who punched his pregnant girlfriend. That guy.

@NFL I'm confused. Why are you using the picture of someone who's beaten and choked his pregnant girlfriend as your header? #whynotrayrice

The @NFL who spend millions on anti-domestic violence campaigns, have a man who punched & choked his pregnant girlfriend as a Twitter header pic.twitter.com/t2QzQbDvCC

@NFL why is a known domestic abuser who attacked his pregnant girlfriend in college the header for your Twitter?
— FBH (@ATLBraveFalcon) November 30, 2016
@NFL pretty classy of you guys to have someone who pleaded guilty to assaulting a pregnant woman's as your header
— Derek (@bderek3) November 29, 2016
*whispers* I don't think it's a good look for the NFL to have a domestic abuser on their twitter header https://t.co/RINBxUSxwF

What kind of message is the @NFL sending w/ the person they are celebrating on their header? Here kids choke women make millions! #Ludicrous
