Watch Marcus Peters’ epic punt against Panthers

Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters’ nickname should be Thrill Ride.

I’m just throwing that out there and I’m fully aware that it won’t stick. But you watch Peters play and you never know what is going to happen. However, you often feel exhilarated by the end of the game.

Case in point: Peters’ play that basically won Sunday’s game at Carolina. Peters stripped the ball from the Panthers’ Kelvin Benjamin, returned the fumble a short distance, was tackled, got up and punted the ball for which he was penalized*.

*A small point here: Peters was flagged for delay of game because he punted the ball while on the field. His punt a week earlier against the Jaguars wasn’t a penalty. So perhaps it is OK to punt a ball into the stands in the No Fun League.
