Watch as lights on Las Vegas strip dimmed in honor of Jerry Tarkanian
Las Vegas paid tribute to former college basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, who died on Feb. 11.
Tarkanian put UNLV on the map, so the lights on the Las Vegas strip were dimmed for three minutes in his honor.

Kennedy, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, George Burns, Frank Sinatra and Ronald Reagan, as well as after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 and Earth Hour in 2009.
