Some Kansas fans show their ugly side with criticism of Perry Ellis
Yes, Perry Ellis missed a shot at the end of Kansas’ game Monday at West Virginia.
Ellis’ miss at the end of the Jayhawks’ 62-61 loss at West Virginia had some KU fans seeing red. Naturally, they took to Twitter to express their displeasure.
Before getting to the nasty comments, here’s one to remember:
Anyone who says Perry Ellis lost that game for Kansas did not watch the first 39 minutes of the game. He is the only reason it was close.
— Breven Daugherity (@b_daugie) February 17, 2015 Many of the tweets about Ellis were not suitable for repeating, let alone suitable for a family web site.
Perry Ellis is just awful. I don't care what offensive stats he has, he's terrible. He is the WORST defensive Player in NCAAB. Dunk It!!!!!
— Paul Perrini (@PaulieP33) February 17, 2015 Perry Ellis not dunking is almost as bad as Alex Gordon rounding 3rd in Game 7 of the WS
— Parker Thomas Truax (@parkerttruax) February 17, 2015 Perry Ellis choked
— Garrett Farah (@Garrett_Farah24) February 17, 2015 It’s worth noting that Ellis is a junior:
@Shmdty77 also, if you're Perry Ellis, a senior leader on that team, you HAVE to finish at the basket there. Those are my thoughts.
— Dusty Decker (@DeckerDusty) February 17, 2015 I'm not sure if I have any Perry Ellis brand clothing... But I'm scouring my closet and burning every item of clothing I find
— Ja Oehring (@Oehring50) February 17, 2015 perry ellis just lost that game
— jack cole (@j_cole55) February 17, 2015 Props to Traylor for a killer pass...it's too bad that it was to Perry Ellis, cause he did what he does best: NOT finishing at the rim
— Becky Collins (@beckycllns88) February 17, 2015 I really think I hate Perry Ellis just as much as Iowa State fans do...
— Andy Drey (@dreyboi30) February 17, 2015 Perry Ellis is the worst basketball player to ever step on a court for Kansas! How do you miss that!?
