Fan loses ring while proposing during game at Yankee Stadium
Generally, I’m not a fan of the marriage proposal at a sporting event.
It’s become such a common event that most people just roll their eyes when there is a proposal on the big screen at a stadium. Teams, such as the New York Yankees, even encourage fans to propose at games.
However ... there are times when it’s pure magic.
During Tuesday’s Yankees-Red Sox game, a guy popped the question, but there was one problem. Here is Sports Illustrated’s Kenny Ducey:
A guy tried to propose on the Yankee Stadium scoreboard. He opened the box. There was no ring. They cut away. The crowd laughed.

It was going so well, too. PA played Frank Sinatra. This dude actually wasn't booed like most dudes proposing here. Then, he loses the ring

"Ladies and gentlemen, they found the ring," the Yankee Stadium PA announced.

Yeah, the ring was initially lost, but just like in a fairy tale, it all had a happy ending (it appeared that the bride-to-be found the ring):
