Baseball is stunned, saddened by death of Marlins star Jose Fernandez
The news is almost impossible to fathom.
Miami Marlins star pitcher Jose Fernandez was killed early Sunday in a boat crash. He was just 24 years old. The Marlins’ game Sunday against the Braves was cancelled and it seemed everyone around baseball, and many in other professional sports, took to Twitter to offer their condolences.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jose Fernandez, his family and the entire Marlins organization during this incredibly difficult time.
