Kansas City Royals catcher Drew Butera did a Facebook Live chat on Thursday and seemed like a natural, even though he acknowledged not having a Facebook account.

Butera dished on a bunch of different subjects, including baseball, food and some of his favorite music, cars and more. Here are some of the highlights.

Q: Will the Royals make the playoffs?

Butera: “God, I hope so.”

Q: Why did Danny Duffy shave his beard and cut his hair?

Butera: “I don’t know why Danny cut his hair and his beard. I felt like he had a nice ratio of hair to beard, so I really don’t why he shaved it. I don’t think he looks that good with it.”

Q: What does he do in the offseason?

Butera: “I train in the mornings and play golf in the afternoons and then in between that I eat, and then after I play golf, I eat some more, and I think right before I go to bed I try to have a light snack.”

Q: Favorite KC barbecue spot?

Butera: “My favorite KC barbecue place would probably be Q39 on 39th Street. Hands down, the best burnt-end burger in the world. I could have four of them a day. I’d probably be 400 pounds, but well worth it, if you ask me.”

Q: Favorite ballpark other than Kauffman Stadium?

Butera: “Other than Kauffman, my favorite stadium to play would probably be Fenway Park, just for the history and the unique, how the outfield wall is gigantic with the Green Monster and to say that you’ve played in a stadium where so many of the greats have played is pretty cool.”
