For Pete's Sake

Sports teams have their own Valentine’s Day cards that anyone can use

If you’re the type of guy who waits until the last minute to buy a Valentine’s Day gift, here’s something to know: It’s tomorrow.

In other words, you may want to get a card today. Fortunately for all of us, professional sports teams have taken the time to help us with Valentine’s Day cards.

The NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Pittsburgh Penguins have made cards that anyone can use. Ditto for the Arizona Cardinals.

Here are some examples, starting with the best one I’ve seen (if you’re a fan of “The Simpsons,” you’ll know why):

Those were cards from the Flyers, and here are some from the Cardinals:

These are from the Penguins:

Here are a couple from the Chicago Blackhawks.

This may be the worst one of the bunch. Who wants a Valentine’s Day card from a coach? (No offense, Joel Quenneville)

Here are the Blackhawks cards. And the Penguins cards. And the Flyers, too. Don’t forget the Lightning. The Cardinals cards are here.
