For Pete's Sake

This is the pitch that hit Royals’ Salvador Perez in the wrist

The early report is encouraging.

Rustin Dodd, the Royals beat writer for The Star, reported that the diagnosis for catcher Salvador Perez was a bruised left wrist. Perez was injured in the seventh inning of the Royals’ 10-3 win over the Twins on Tuesday night.

Twins pitcher Ervin Santana’s pitch hit Perez on the wrist and it was a scary moment. Perez left the game after being hit by the pitch, and the initial fears was a broken bone.
