March 20: Sporting KC 1, Toronto 0

From foe to friend. Formerly one of the club’s top rival players, Brad Davis cemented his new status in Kansas City with a 70th-minute goal. Sporting KC hung on without midfielder Roger Espinoza, who was ejected in the 84th minute for a reckless challenge.

Record: 3-0-0
