Sporting Kansas City, Houston play to 2-2 draw in preseason finale

Sporting Kansas City completed its preseason Saturday with a 2-2 draw against the Houston Dynamo.

Nuno Andre Coelho and Daniel Salloi scored goals for Sporting Kansas City, which finished with one win and three draws in the preseason.

The team opens the 2016 MLS regular season March 6 at Seattle.

▪ The Swope Park Rangers beat FC Tucson 1-0 on a goal by Dane Kelly. The Rangers, Sporting Kansas City’s USL affiliate, finished 2-0-2 in the Desert Diamond Cup competition.
