Sporting Kansas City completed its 2016 MLS SuperDraft class Tuesday with the addition of two midfielders.

The club selected Bowling Green midfielder Ryan James in the third round (No. 52 overall) before adding Saint Louis University midfielder Faik Hajderovic in the fourth round (No. 72 overall).

The third and fourth rounds were conducted via conference call Tuesday after the initial two rounds were completed Thursday in Baltimore. Sporting KC did not make a selection in the first two rounds.

James had four goals and five assists in 19 games for Bowling Green last fall. He played in 79 matches over his four-year college career and was named to the All Mid-American Conference second team in 2014 and 2015.

Hajderovic, an attacking midfielder, started 14 games for Saint Louis this season, scoring two goals and contributing two assists. He spent his first three college seasons at Evansville, where he was coached by current Sporting KC assistant technical director Mike Jacobs.

Sporting KC will open the first phase of its preseason Saturday in Tucson, Ariz.
