In his first MLS season, Sporting Kansas City forward Krisztian Nemeth scored 16 goals across all competitions. None of the tallies were more memorable than a late-game strike against the Portland Timbers.

None in MLS were, actually.

Nemeth won the MLS goal of the year, an honor announced Thursday after the Hungarian forward won a fan vote on the league website.
