Sporting KC offers free tickets for home matches. Here’s how to get yours
The World Cup in Kansas City might be over, but there’s plenty of soccer for you to take in for the rest of 2026. Some of which you can watch in person for free.
While you have to wait a few more days for Sporting Kansas City to return to Sporting Park for MLS action, you can claim tickets to its remaining 10 home matches for free through their returning First Game On Us initiative — if you’re a first-time Sporting KC visitor.
The program originally began for the 2025 season, and it offers up to two free tickets for fans to experience their first MLS match at the stadium in Kansas City, Kansas. It was designed to make the game and the league more accessible by giving newcomers the chance to support the team in person for no cost.
You will have the option to sit in the Cauldron, otherwise known as the Supporters Section — where the superfans sit, for those fans who want to be part of the stadium’s atmosphere — or the South Stand, a general admission seating area which has a more family-friendly environment.
Matches available for the First Game On Us program include:
- Saturday, July 22: Minnesota United FC
- Saturday, Aug 1: Houston Dynamo FC
- Wednesday, Aug. 19: St. Louis City FC
- Saturday, Aug. 29: Vancouver Whitecaps FC
