If you haven’t been to a Sporting Kansas City game, you have a chance to attend one for free ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In anticipation of this summer’s World Cup games at Arrowhead Stadium, Sporting KC is offering free tickets for each of its four remaining home games ahead of Major League Soccer’s World Cup pause.

The four home games with free tickets are: against the San Jose Earthquakes (currently ranked 3rd in the league’s Western Conference) on April 11 at 7:30 p.m.; against the Seattle Sounders (5th in the West) on May 2 at 1:30 p.m.; against the L.A. Galaxy (10th in West) on May 13 at 7:30 p.m.; and against the NY Red Bulls (8th in East) on May 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Soccer fans can sign up for two complimentary tickets to sit in one of two “supporters’ sections” at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas: the Supporter’s Stand in the north end of the stadium (connected to the Budweiser Brew House) or the Price Chopper South Stand, a family-friendly supporters section.

Both sections typically feature fans banging on drums and yelling chants throughout the game. The supporter’s stand is the main fans’ section, wherein Sporting-backers hold up the tifo, or massive hand-created sign that’s displayed before each match.

The free tickets can be obtained by filling out an online form. Tickets will be sent out by the team, with club officials noting that limited amounts are available.

Sporting KC is 1-3-1 so far in the 2026 MLS season. Last season Sporting finished last in the West, but an offseason makeover — including a new head coach — followed.

This weekend Sporting KC is on the road to play sixth-place Real Salt Lake. The Saturday afternoon match is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
