Sporting KC to induct Chris Klein into Sporting Legends hall of honor

Sporting Kansas City will recognize former midfielder Chris Klein as the lone member of its 2015 Sporting Legends class during halftime of Saturday's match against Vancouver.

Klein, who played for the Kansas City Wizards from 1998-2005, will be the seventh member of the hall of honor, begun in 2013. A former first-round pick, he scored 43 goals and had 54 assists during 235 matches across all competitions. He twice won the MLS comeback player of the year award and was a four-time All-Star.

Saturday’s match starts at 8 p.m.
