Poll: Do you agree with Sporting KC’s recent roster decisions for ’22? Vote in our poll

Sporting Kansas City announced some big roster decisions this week, most notably declining contract options on veterans Ilie Sanchez and Luis Martins.

Only two players’ contract options were accepted. Five more are joining Sanchez and Martins on their way out of town, while three others remain involved in contract negotiations with the club.

The Star on Thursday analyzed the rationale for each decision. Do you agree with the direction Sporting KC is taking for 2022 after last weekend’s 2-1 playoff loss at home against Real Salt Lake?
