Sporting KC midfielder Servando Carrasco suspended for Sunday’s match vs. Chicago
Sporting Kansas City midfielder Servando Carrasco received a one-game suspension Wednesday for “violent conduct” during the club’s 4-4 draw with the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night. He will miss Sunday’s match against the Chicago Fire at Sporting Park.
Major League Soccer levied the punishment as a result of Carrasco’s challenge against Houston forward Giles Barnes in the 52nd minute. Carrasco also was fined.
