Sporting KC

Three-minute preview: Real Salt Lake at Sporting KC

▪ WHEN/WHERE: 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Sporting Park

▪ TV/RADIO: KMCI (Ch. 38); WHB (810 AM), KDTD (1340 AM)

▪ ABOUT SPORTING KC (2-1-2, eight points): The team is looking for its third straight victory after a 3-2 comeback win Sunday against Philadelphia, a game that Matt Besler called one of the most dramatic of his career. Sporting KC will likely be without Graham Zusi (hamstring) and Seth Sinovic (groin) on Saturday.

▪ ABOUT REAL SALT LAKE (2-0-2, eight points): The club has switched to a 4-3-3 formation this season, and the results speak for themselves. Real Salt Lake is unbeaten across four matches and hasn't conceded an away goal in two road matches.

▪ BOTTOM LINE: Real Salt Lake has never won at Sporting Park, and it's scored only one goal in four games. Its most notable trip to Kansas City, of course, resulted in Sporting KC's penalty-kick victory in the 2013 MLS Cup Final.

▪ PREDICTION: Sporting KC 1, Real Salt Lake 1
