Sporting KC's Erik Palmer-Brown to join U.S. under-20 national team

Sporting Kansas City homegrown defender Erik Palmer-Brown was called up to the U.S. under-20 men's national team Sunday for its training camp next week in England.

Palmer-Brown, 17, was one of 20 players named to the team, which will play England's under-21 team on March 29. The U.S. is preparing for the U-20 World Cup this summer.

Palmer-Brown will miss Sporting Kansas City's match Saturday at New York City FC.
