Sporting KC makes a surprise appearance in Apple's developers conference keynote

Sporting Kansas City received a visual shout-out Monday at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. Albeit a brief one.

During the event's keynote presentation in San Jose for new and enhanced products, the company announced expanded visuals for Siri, a voice command assistant for the iPhone.

The initial example showed an upcoming match for Sporting Kansas City and San Jose on June 17. The graphic was on the screen for about five seconds.
