Sporting KC to host Minnesota United FC in U.S. Open Cup match on June 14

Sporting Kansas City will begin the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament on its home field.

Minnesota United FC will visit Sporting KC at 7:30 p.m. on June 14 in the fourth round of the tournament.

On Thursday, U.S. Soccer unveiled the draws for the fourth-round matchups, the round of the tournament in which 19 MLS clubs will enter the field.

Sporting KC has won the U.S. Open Cup three times, most recently in 2015. It defeated Minnesota in the Open Cup last June.

Tickets for the match will be available to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday on SeatGeek.com.
