Budweiser is tapping into its St. Louis roots for its 2016 Rio Olympics branding.

FC Kansas City captain Becky Sauerbrunn, a St. Louis native, is one of six projected Team USA athletes who will be sponsored by Budweiser during the 2016 Olympics and Paralympics. The company announced the partnership Wednesday.

Sauerbrunn, the only U.S. women’s national team soccer player on the list, will appear in digital brand content and will be part of a 225-foot mural in New York.

In addition to Sauerbrunn, Perry Baker (rugby), Amanda Bingson (hammer throw), Richard Browne (sprinter), Trey Hardee (decathlete) and Melissa Stockwell (Paralympic athlete) will also be sponsored by Budweiser.
