FC Kansas City wins exhibition opener 7-0 over UMKC
FC Kansas City won its first exhibition game of the season Sunday with a 7-0 victory over UMKC at Durwood Stadium.
“We played a good solid game against a decent opponent, so I am happy with how the girls that were on the field performed,” Coach Vlatko Andonovski said
FCKC, the defending National Women’s Soccer League champions, scored six goals in the first half.
Caroline Kastor scored two goals for FCKC. Adding one each were Kaysie Clark, Alexa Newfield, Tiffany McCarty, Molly Menchel and Jessie Ayers.
