FC Kansas City players Bogus, Lisenby announce retirement
FC Kansas City midfielder Liz Bogus and defender Meghan Lisenby have retired from professional soccer, a month before the NWSL season is slated to begin.
Bogus, 32, was a member of both of the club’s championship teams in the previous seasons. She started 10 games last year, scoring three goals.
FC Kansas City used the 16th pick in the 2015 draft to select Lisenby, 23, from Texas A&M. She played only 14 minutes in her rookie season.
