FC Kansas City has acquired a second-round pick in the 2017 National Women’s Soccer League College Draft from the Orlando Pride in exchange for forward Sarah Hagen and a second-round selection in the 2016 draft.

Hagen played both championship seasons for the Blues and recorded eight goals and three assists.

“Trading Sarah was not an easy decision to make,” FC Kansas City coach Vlatko Andonovski said in a statement. “She was a big part of our team for two great seasons and two championships. We want to wish her all the best in the future.”

The Pride, the league’s newest expansion team, also acquired Alex Morgan and Kaylyn Kyle on Monday as they prepare for their inaugural NWSL season.
