The KC Current took on the Boston Legacy in a National Women’s Soccer League match at CPKC Stadium, beating the visiting team 1-0 Saturday on Temwa Chawinga’s second-half goal.
It was another win for the Current, the club’s fourth in five games, delighting a packed house that included members of Kansas City’s “Big Slick” celebrity royalty and rookies from the Chiefs’ 2026 NFL Draft class.
