KC Current are playing their first playoff game at new stadium: How to watch and go

In a season filled with firsts, the Kansas City Current have one more thing to add to their list of accomplishments: the first home playoff game at CPKC Stadium, the only stadium in the world built by and dedicated to a women’s professional sports team.

The team will host the North Carolina Courage at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the quarterfinals of the NWSL playoffs, where 11,500 fans are expected to cheer on the Current as they aim for a NWSL Championship. If they can make it that far, they’ll have home-field advantage since the championship game will be played at CPKC Stadium.

Before kickoff, here’s what you need to know about the game, from how much tickets cost to how to watch from home.

How much are KC Current playoff tickets?

The Current became the first team in NWSL history to sell out every home game this season. The team played 13 games in Kansas City in 2024, and it’s likely they will sell out a 14th game Saturday.

As of Friday midday, tickets around the stadium are available on SeatGeek starting at $51 with fees in the supporter’s section. This section does not have assigned seating. Ticket prices range from $52 to $525 for assigned seating inside CPKC Stadium.

Limited tickets are also available on VividSeats, starting at $69 before fees.

Where can I park at CPKC Stadium?

CPKC Stadium has limited on-site parking, and visitors who want to park there must buy a parking pass in advance. Passes cost $59 with fees on SeatGeek.

On-site parking lots open three hours before the game starts and close two hours after the game ends.

Off-site parking is available anywhere in parking lots or on streets throughout downtown, Crossroads and the River Market.

The Current run free shuttles to and from the stadium on game days. These shuttle pickup spots are located at:

  • The north side of 7th Street between Main Street and Baltimore Avenue
  • The southwest side of the intersection at 2nd Street and Grand Boulevard

Gameday shuttle service starts two hours before kickoff and ends two hours after the game is over.

Fans can take the bus and the streetcar to get to the shuttle pickup sites.

How can I watch the KC Current game?

You have a few options to watch the Current game if you aren’t heading to the stadium.

The game will be broadcast on CBS at 11 a.m. Saturday. It will also be streaming on Paramount+, and the radio broadcast is found on 90.9 FM, home of The Bridge.
