You’ll soon be able to play as the Kansas City Current on FIFA 23. What to know
The Kansas City Current are coming to FIFA 23.
The world-famous video game announced Monday that the Current — and the entire National Women’s Soccer League — will be playable starting on March 15.
Previously, only players from the Current who were on the women’s national teams were included in the game.
The game’s update will add the 12 clubs from the NWSL. They will be playable in the following game modes:
Kick-Off
Online Seasons, including playing against someone with different teams and playing with someone on the same team
Online Friendlies
Tournament Mode
In Kick-Off, Online Seasons and Online Friendlies, you can play with any of the 12 clubs in the league. If both clubs in the match are from the NWSL, the in-game broadcast will resemble the league.
In Tournament Mode, you can pick any club and take them through the NWSL’s regular season. You can win the NWSL Shield for finishing in first place and play through the NWSL playoffs to try and win the championship.

The FIFA update comes right before the NWSL season kicks off. The Current begin their run toward another championship appearance with a road game against the North Carolina Courage on March 25.
The Current will be looking to avenge their title-game loss the following week. They play against the Portland Thorns on April 1 in their first home game of the season.
