Extreme heat pushes back start of Saturday evening’s FC Kansas City soccer match

The starting time for Saturday’s FC Kansas City-vs.-North Carolina Courage game at Children’s Mercy Victory Field in Swope Park has been pushed back an hour due to expected hot temperatures.

Originally set for 7 p.m. Central, kickoff will now be 8 p.m. Central.

The Kansas City area remains under an extreme-heat advisory, with heat indices reaching 110 degrees in the afternoons.
