Shea Groom takes care of all the scoring in FCKC’s exhibition win at Nebraska
FC Kansas City improved to 2-0 in its preseason slate by beating the University of Nebraska 2-1 on Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
Nebraska took the early lead on a goal by Faith Carter in the 28th minute.
FCKC answered with a goal from Shea Groom nine minutes later to tie the score at 1-1.
Groom, who went to Liberty High School, also came up with the winner, scoring in the 85th minute.
FCKC opens its NWSL season against the Boston Breakers on April 16th at Swope Soccer Village.
