Silva, 24, announced Wednesday that she’s taken a job with FOX Soccer, ending her career with her hometown professional team.
Silva, who graduated from Blue Valley North High School and went onto a career at West Virginia, has been with FCKC since 2014. She played in 19 games in the 2016 season, starting 10 of them and scoring two goals.
“Thank you so much @FCKansasCity and @kcbluecrew for 3 great years, I’ll never forget them!” Silva tweeted. “So excited for my next chapter with @FOXSoccer.”
