The Kansas City Current unveiled new renderings for its stadium coming to the Berkley Riverfront in 2024. It’ll be the first stadium in the world built solely for a professional women’s soccer team.
These renderings show views of the stadium’s east side, with “CURRENT” spelled across the general reserve section. Fans sitting in this section will have a clear view of downtown Kansas City.

WHAT IS THE STADIUM’S TIMELINE?
Stadium groundbreaking: Oct. 6, 2022
Stadium site excavation: Fall 2022
Site utilities and building foundations: Winter 2022
Concrete palace and structural steel erection: Spring 2023
Building masonry for suites, concessions and other amenities: Summer 2023
Pitch installation: August 2023
Concourse paving, stadium seating and scoreboard installation: Fall 2023
Interior finishes for suites and club levels, concourse finishes and bars: Fall - Winter 2023
Stadium opens: March 2024
